Welcome to my website!

I am associate professor (agregat) at the Department of Economics of the University of Barcelona.

I hold a PhD. in Economics by the University of Barcelona, a master degree in International Economics and Development Economics and BA in Economics and in Laws. My research interests include issues pertaining to the analysis of the educational production function, equity in education, international educational assessments and the evaluation of public policies. My research been published in several journals, books and books chapters, and has caught the attention of the media. I have also participated in a number of research and consultancy projects with private and public agencies and have been Visiting Research Associate at the UCL-Institute of Education and Thomas J. Alexander Fellow at the OECD. Finally, my teaching activity involves PhD supervision and lecturing Economics of Education (Master in Economics) and Public Economics, Political Economy and Evaluation of Public policies to undergraduate students.
